FRACTIONAL SALES LEADERSHIP

Fractional sales leadership for the next stage of your business.

A fractional sales leader takes on an agreed part of your sales leadership responsibilities without a full-time executive hire. The work can include managing pipeline, coaching sellers, shaping sales process, and joining important customer conversations. Scope and decision rights are agreed before the engagement begins.

WHEN THIS FITS

Build a sales organization that doesn’t depend on heroics.

  • You have customer traction, but the founder still carries too much of the sales function.
  • Your salespeople need clearer direction, coaching, and accountability.
  • Pipeline reviews and forecasts do not give you a reliable view of the business.
  • You need experienced leadership before or alongside hiring a full-time Head of Sales.

HOW THE WORK COMES TOGETHER

A clear scope.
Practical work.

01

Understand the constraint

Look at the market, current opportunities, qualification, sales conversations, and team capability. Separate a leadership problem from a targeting, product, or execution problem.

02

Agree what leadership owns

Define priorities, responsibilities, decision rights, and measures of progress. Establish what the founder, existing team, and fractional leader will each own.

03

Lead alongside the team

Put the agreed process into practice through pipeline management, coaching, deal work, and selected hands-on selling. Review progress and adjust as the business learns.

Responsibilities, deliverables, meeting cadence, and availability are agreed for each engagement.

BEFORE WE TALK

Your questions,
answered.

Is a fractional Head of Sales the same as a fractional VP of Sales?

The titles can describe similar arrangements, but the responsibilities matter more than the label. We define the leadership work your company needs rather than assuming every business needs the same executive role.

How is this different from sales advice?

Advice can identify what needs to change. Fractional leadership can also include responsibility for putting changes into practice with your team. The balance of advisory and operating work depends on the agreed scope.

Should we hire a full-time leader instead?

A full-time hire may be appropriate when the company has enough ongoing leadership work and a clear role to fill. A fractional engagement can be a bridge or focused support. We should first understand the actual workload and constraints.

Do you guarantee revenue growth?

No. Progress depends on the product, market, team, and execution. The engagement is built around clear responsibilities and measurable work, without a guaranteed revenue result.

LET’S BUILD WHAT’S NEXT
